Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Open and securely prop the hood. Remove the old hood-to-cowl seal by prying or cutting it away; retain any fasteners if reusable.
- Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces on the cowl and hood edge with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and old adhesive residue. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new CS 6110 seal along the cowl to confirm orientation and fit. Trim any excess length with a utility knife for an exact fit.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the cowl flange or the seal mounting surface following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the seal firmly into place along the cowl, using masking tape to hold sections in position if needed while adhesive sets. Ensure corners and ends are seated without gaps.
- Remove any masking tape once the seal is secured and close the hood gently to check contact and alignment. Make minor adjustments as needed so the hood closes without binding.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully per the adhesive product instructions before driving. Re-check the seal after a short test drive and re-tighten or re-seat any areas if necessary.
