Instructions:
- Remove the chrome windshield trim and any fasteners or clips holding it in place.
- Carefully pry out the old weatherstrip; remove any remaining rubber and old adhesive.
- Clean the mounting channel and body clip areas with isopropyl alcohol and a rag; inspect and replace any broken clips.
- Test-fit the new seal along the windshield perimeter to confirm orientation and length.
- Lightly wet the sealing edge with soapy water or silicone spray to aid installation.
- Starting at one corner, press the new weatherstrip into the body clips and channel, working progressively around the windshield. Ensure the self-locking bead snaps into the clips.
- Reinstall the chrome trim over the new seal, seating it fully into place and reattaching any fasteners or clips.
- Inspect the seal for uniform compression, trim any excess if necessary, and test for leaks after installation.
