Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake, and open the hood to access the cowl area.
- Use a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver to carefully pry out the damaged or existing cowl clips. Remove any debris or old clip fragments from the mounting holes.
- Clean the mounting surface with a rag to ensure a proper seal and fit for the new fasteners.
- Position the cowl panel or trim in its correct location, aligning the mounting holes.
- Insert each new clip from the top or bottom as required by the clip type and press firmly until the clip snaps and seats flush.
- If clips include push pins, depress the center pin to lock the fastener in place (or release to remove later).
- Check that the cowl panel is secure and that gaps are even. Close the hood and inspect for wind noise or movement during a short test drive.
