A direct-fit left-hand rear door glass run channel engineered to guide and seal the window within the door frame. This replacement channel prevents wind noise, water intrusion, and glass vibration while maintaining smooth up-and-down window operation. Constructed from durable EPDM-style rubber with a reinforced backing, it provides long-lasting performance and restores factory-style fit and function. Ideal for repair or restoration projects, it improves cabin quietness, weather sealing, and overall window stability with easy, serviceable installation.
Features:
  • Left-hand (driver side) rear door glass run channel — direct replacement for the rear door window track.
  • Durable EPDM-style rubber construction with reinforced backing for long service life.
  • Guides and secures the glass to reduce rattles and vibration during operation.
  • Prevents water intrusion and reduces wind noise for improved cabin comfort.
  • Designed for restoration and repair applications to restore factory fit and finish.
  • Easy to install with standard door panel removal procedures; replacement-grade quality.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 45-90 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim panel removal tool
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Utility knife
  • Spray bottle with soapy water or rubber lubricant
  • Rubber mallet (optional)
  • Silicone sealant or adhesive (if required)
Instructions:
  1. Lower the window fully (if possible) and disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent accidental operation.
  2. Remove the interior door panel: remove screws, push fasteners with a trim tool, and detach any electrical connectors (power window switch, courtesy light).
  3. Peel back or remove the plastic vapor barrier to access the inner door cavity and the glass run channel.
  4. Detach the window from the regulator as needed and carefully support or raise the glass out of the channel to provide clearance.
  5. Inspect and remove the old glass run channel: cut or pry out any fasteners and pull the old rubber channel away from the metal flange.
  6. Clean the channel mounting area thoroughly, removing old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion to ensure a smooth surface.
  7. Lubricate the new channel with soapy water or rubber-safe lubricant. Slide and seat the new channel into the flange, working from one end to the other. Use a rubber mallet sparingly to fully seat the backing if required.
  8. Reposition the glass into the new channel and verify smooth travel up and down. Reattach the glass to the regulator if disconnected.
  9. Reinstall the vapor barrier (use new adhesive if needed), reconnect electrical connectors, and reinstall the door panel and all fasteners.
  10. Test the window operation several times to confirm proper alignment, sealing, and quiet operation. Apply silicone sealant around any areas that may require extra weatherproofing.
