Precision Front Door Weatherstrip Seal, Left or Right DWB 3110 02 is a durable door perimeter seal designed to stop water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and protect interior trim. Engineered to the DWB 3110 02 specification, this left-or-right seal restores a tight, OEM-style closure for front doors that have worn, cracked, or compressed original weatherstripping. Made from long-lasting EPDM-style rubber with a molded profile that seats into factory channels, it improves cabin comfort, prevents rust from moisture ingress, and extends the life of door hardware. Simple to fit and replace, it’s an effective maintenance and restoration part for vehicles requiring the DWB 3110 02 sealing profile.
Features:
- Fits front left or right doors that require the DWB 3110 02 weatherstrip profile (verify part number for exact fitment).
- Durable EPDM-style rubber construction resists UV, ozone, and temperature extremes.
- Molded profile seats into factory channels for an OEM-style fit and finish.
- Reduces wind noise, blocks drafts, and prevents water leaks into the cabin.
- Ideal for replacing worn, cracked, or flattened original weatherstripping during restoration or maintenance.
- Easy to trim and install with common hand tools; adheres securely for long-term performance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open the front door fully.
- Remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out the seals using a trim tool, cutting any adhesive where necessary.
- Thoroughly clean the mating flange/channel with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover and a clean cloth; ensure surface is dry and free of old adhesive.
- Test-fit the new seal into the channel along the door perimeter to verify orientation and length; trim excess with a sharp utility knife if required.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or seal according to the adhesive instructions.
- Seat the new weatherstrip into the channel, starting at one end and pressing firmly along the length to engage any retention profile. Pay special attention to corners and high-compression areas.
- Close the door gently to check alignment and compression; reopen and make any final adjustments.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (if used) before exposing to water or driving for best long-term sealing performance.
